Here’s the details on BookWise’s new compensation plan:

You may select two membership levels; an affiliate or a business builder.

As an affiliate you’ll earn a 50% Enrollment Bonus and 20% commission on each person you personally enroll - or 20% on your first level affiliates.

As a business builder you’ll earn the 50% Enrollment Bonus and 20% commission on both your first and second levels. You’ll may also be eligible for part of the 10% leadership pool that is paid out in incentives to top affiliates. And you’d earn a 10% commission on advance mentoring programs such as the WriteWise Author Mentoring Program and Robert G. Allen’s Protege Program.

That means that people can earn money much quicker. A fantastic plus in today’s economy. Instead of getting anywhere from 1% to 6% of the sales of people in our organization you are paid 20% on two levels. I posted previously about some of the changes in income that we will see from people on our team.

There is some differences in the benefits of each plan. I’ll post those shortly.

The new plan has a $49.95 monthly price point for an affiliate and $99.95 for the business builder. However, if you enroll this month you can get in at the $39.95 price point. I highly recommend you do this. In fact, if you enroll this week we will purchase you a copy of the book The One Minute Millionaire by Robert G. Allen and Mark Victor Hansen.

You can enroll here.

BookWise made a major announcement Tuesday evening. BookWise founder, Robert G. Allen, announced that they are switching their compensation structure from network marketing to affiliate marketing.

When the announcement was made, admittedly, I had concerns. Craig and I figured we would be making more money, but wondered what kinds of benefit it would have for those on our team. So when we arrived home we did a little figuring and found that across the board most of the team members in our organization were going to make more money with the BookWise Affiliate Compensation Plan, than the BookWise Network Marketing Compensation Plan.

Look what will happen under the new BookWise compensation plan:

  • One person’s income will jump from $4.70 to $90.00.
  • Another $3.00 to $30.00.
  • Another associate is currently jumping from$1.20 to $20.00.
  • An associates income will jump from $177.13 to at least $380.00.

So overall it looks like a fantastic move as far as the associates are concerned! Most associates will benefit. The associate who will be negatively impacted are those who have a downline organization, but who have never enrolled anyone. So if you are a current BookWise associate don’t get nervous. Richard Paul Evans and Robert Allen made the change so they could get more money into your hands. I believe you’ll find that this new plan will do exactly that!

I’ll share more about the new BookWise compensation plan shortly.

The Virtual Handshake book cover

Last night I had the privilege of listening to an interesting interview Todd Falcone had with Scott Allen. Scott is the author of The Virtual Handshake, the Entrepreneurs Guide for About.com. (You can download Scott Allen and David Teten’s Virtual Handshake book for free. In printed form it is better to purchase The Virtual Handshake here). In addition to Scott’s Virtual Handshake book and postings at About.com, he contributes to Fast Company and writes a blog about business networking site, LinkedIn called LinkedIntelligence.

From the The Virtual Handshake Blog and Resource Site

Scott (Allen) is a recognized authority, having been quoted or featured in ABCNews.com, The Washington Post, CFO Magazine, Christian Science Monitor, Sales and Marketing Management, Networking Times, Southwest Airlines Spirit, Worth and other major publications, as well as appearing on radio and at industry conferences. He consults with businesses and individuals on the strategic use of social software and with social software companies on product design.

Scott briefly mentioned six areas you should consider when checking out any network marketing company. They are very close to the ones Richard Paul Evans uses. The six things Scott says to use are: who, what, where, when, how, and why.

Who ~ Who is behind the company? And who is your upline?

Let’s look at the people behind BookWise. Have they been successful and reputable in their previous businesses? I challenge you to Google their names and you’ll learn more about the fantastic leadership team at BookWise: Richards Paul Evans, Robert G. Allen, Dennis Webb, Andy Compas, Mark W. Hurst, and Christopher Pair.

Who is your upline? Are you going to get support from your upline? Or will you be left to wander in the dark? This doesn’t mean that you can’t get involved with someone who is new to MLM or new to the company. The question is are they someone you can trust? Is there a strong team of leaders in your upline who can assist you. Do they have systems and tools in place to help you?

What ~ What is the product?

Is the product something that you can feel good about representing? You can’t go wrong with books. Scott says “Is it something that would sell well in a retail store or via other traditional marketing and distribution channels?” Yes - books have sold well for hundreds of years. The industry just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Books make a difference in the lives of others and the world.

Where ~ Where is the product being promoted and where can you promote it?

With BookWise your product is promoted constantly. It is promoted on the news, at the water cooler at offices around the world. Why even Oprah Winfrey promotes my product.

Just take a look at all the buzz about the latest Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. The buzz resulted in increased sales for us. Because I live close to the corporate office I was able to pick take our son to pick up our family copy at midnight. I didn’t have to wait in a long line. I didn’t have to wear a wristband for weeks to hold a place. I just walked up and picked it up. In and out in five minutes. Lucky yes. Others simply had it delivered to their home by the post office. Convenient!

Where ~ Where can you promote it?

As long as you don’t make outrageous claims and follow some common sense rules you are free to use your own website or blog to promote BookWise. (Corporate approval required). If you make unrealistic income claims, or promises that are inaccurate then you lose the option to promote the BookWise opportunity online. Currently BookWise is available in the US, but plans are in the works to open to other parts of the world.

When ~ When will you start making money?

With BookWise it is realistic to start making money on your first month. With a start-up of just $39.95 and a monthly cost of $35.00 you become profitable much quicker. We were profitable our first month. Enroll just one new member or associate a month and your monthly membership cost is covered.

How ~ How was the opportunity presented to you?

Were you recruited using high pressure sales techniques? How does the company operate? Were you led to believe you were looking at one type of opportunity when it was another type. Perhaps you’ve been invited to some business meeting where the get you to the meeting under the presumption that it is a job interview. Or perhaps they wouldn’t even tell you what they meeting was about. Were not afraid to tell you right up front what the BookWise opportunity is about. We don’t have to be afraid.

Why ~ Why are you doing this? Why are you interested in the opportunity?

Why do you want to get involved with a network marketing company? This is a question that only you can answer as it is very personal. For me they why was this: BookWise is a company I can feel good about. I feel good about the product. I feel good about the people. But the primary reason is that I can truly help make a difference in the lives of others. Even if it is by brining them books that change their outlook of themselves for the better. Even if it is bringing them books that entertain. But more importantly I can feel good knowing that I can help make a difference in the lives of others forever. The tips they learn on the WealthWin calls can change their financial future forever. The knowledge they can learn through mentoring done by Richard Paul Evans and Robert Allen are priceless. Then add on top of that the fantastic income that can be earned and for me it is simply a no-brainer. Its priceless.

I’ve read a couple of comments, posted by blog viewers, that question the cost of BookWise. See A New Take on book clubs: BookWise and BookWise: An Interesting Model. If BookWise was just about a monthly book, then perhaps BookWise wouldn’t be such a great deal. However, the BookWise bundle of benefits include much more than just a monthly hard cover book.

The BookWise monthly membership includes a hard-cover book, monthly author training by a New York Times bestselling author, agents, and publishers, two tickets to an author’s Book Seminar (valued at over $1,000.00), wealth training by several experts on many different aspects of financial management, an audio book, an e-book, tax training, and much more. Plus the opportunity to earn additional income in an industry I can truly feel good about - books.

So yes, BookWise is a fantastic deal! Add just one of the extra benefits to the cost of the book and you’ve got a good deal. Add the rest and you truly have a fantastic deal.

You can learn more about the bundle of benefits at our home page.

BookWise recently announced the formation of a new Presidents Club. The club is designed to honor those BookWise associates who have taken on a leadership role in their BookWise business. The leadership role involves sponsoring at least three people, and then training and assisting at least one of those members to enroll three new associates. The criteria to me seemed relatively simple, but only 48 out of approximately 3000 associates have done that.

Craig and I are part of the first 48 members of the club world wide, and have been selected to be part of the President’s 100 Club. Any new associate who joins BookWise can become eligible for the President’s club. The President’s 100 Club however is for those first 100 associates world wide who have to achieve the President’s Club status and therefore have helped launch the company in a significant way.

We have been determined from day one to assist our associates in any way we can to become profitable BookWise associates, and never dreamed that we would be honored for that.

We hope one of those people we help can be you! I believe if you check out the BookWise opportunity you will find it refreshing. You won’t find expensive products - in fact the package of benefits all associates get are worth far more than the $35.00 monthly membership cost.

So I challenge you to check out http://www.winninginthemargins.com (use the passkey: MasterKeyToWealth). And then check our our website: http://www.creativevisionbooks.com. You’ll see what I mean.

Then let us know what we can do to assist you in achieving your dreams! Won’t you join us the in BookWise President’s Club.BookWise recently announced the formation of a new Presidents Club. The month is nearly over. It is so hard to believe. We’ve seem some phenomenal things happen with your BookWise business this month. One of them is that we were featured in the BookWise Newsletter - Turn the Page. Here’s what was written about us:

Editor’s Note: This Associate Spotlight differs from any we’ve done previously because Leisa and Craig Watkins were “nominated” for this spotlight by a member of their downline. It seems appropriate to first share some of the nominator’s comments before the interview with the Watkins.

Dear Turn the Page Editor:
I was wondering if I could nominate my upline to be spotlighted in the next newsletter? They are two very humble people who would never ask to be spotlighted or ask for any recognition. That is why I would love to see Leisa and Craig Watkins make your newsletter.

I have done network marketing before and felt completely disconnected with my previous upline. When I stumbled upon Craig and Leisa, I found them to be so genuine and helpful. I figured they would show me how to sign up, teach me a few things here and there and then send me on my way with BookWise. Instead, what happened was completely out of the norm.

Craig and Leisa hooked me up with training CDs, showed me how to market myself, and took a gazillion calls from me until I finally understood things better. In a nutshell, they are constantly showing me how to better my business. I don’t want to give away all of the “perks” of being a part of their team, but if others knew all the training features they’ve set up for us, they would be blown away.

It feels so good to be a part of BookWise, but even better when you have team leaders who treat you as good friends and are doing all that they can to help you succeed.

Carolyn Hartley

Carolyn is definitely right about this amazing couple. It is obvious that their goal is Success (with a capital “S”)—for themselves and for others. As far as “others” go, they’re working extremely hard to make the process easier for their downline, but they also spend countless hours helping others in BookWise (outside of their own downline) who need some motivation or new ideas. They are the kind of people that lift and inspire everyone around them.

The Watkins have been doing network marketing for 25 years. In their words, they’ve “learned the hard way” about bad uplines and what not to do. But they feel that all these other experiences helped prepare them for this opportunity of a lifetime with BookWise. And they know enough about network marketing to know that BookWise is a great deal. Plus, all it took for Leisa was to hear that Richard Paul Evans was involved, and that cinched the deal.

With all the training programs and help they offer others, it sounds like a full-time effort, but Craig and Leisa also lead busy lives outside their BookWise business. Craig works for Wal-Mart and Leisa home schools their three kids. (Whew! That’s enough right there!) She is a 4H volunteer (with several awards to her honor) and she’s also a mixed media art instructor who is in demand all over the country for the seminars she conducts in this field. She even taught herself HTML so she could build her BookWise website and create an online university for her downline.

The Watkins are truly passionate about helping others and truly passionate about BookWise. As Carolyn Hartley summed it up, “I feel like I won the ‘golden ticket’ when I got them as my team leaders. They are headed on the fast track and I guarantee they are doing all that they can to make sure their whole team is right there with them.”

We appreciate the Watkins’ willingness to share their story with Turn the Page readers. And we appreciate Carolyn Hartley’s insightful letter telling us why the Watkins should be featured. They will receive a hardcover bestseller to add to their library. If you would like to be featured in our Associate Spotlight (and receive a hardcover bestseller), or if you would like to nominate another Associate, please send us an email with your name, phone number, and the best time to contact you.
